"Nun Underwear"
This week was quite a week...
Thursday afternoon Sister Sharp and I got a call from the lady we met at Wendy's a couple of weeks ago. We had called her earlier just to see how she was doing, but she never answered. After talking to her for a little bit she told us she had some “Nun underwear." She ask us if we lived with any Nuns or if we knew where she could take the underwear. We weren't sure what "Nun underwear" was, but we explained that we don't live with Nuns or where she could take them. Sister Sharp and I were so confused and could not stop laughing after we hung up.
Chris was baptized and confirmed this weekend. Oh my goodness is all I can say! He was so ready to be baptized. He knows so much about the gospel. Sister Sharp and I were commenting on how he has actually taught us so much. It was such an amazing day and the Spirit was so strong when he was baptized and confirmed. He was so happy, he had the biggest smile ever after. It was seriously the best!
Saturday after Chris's baptism we had a lesson appointment. When she opened the door, she yelled to the other people in the house "Quiet, I have Christian people at my door." Before we started the lesson we asked if we could say a prayer? She said sure, and started calling everyone in the house to the living room. She had everyone stand in a circle holding hands with one another. Then we went around the circle and every single person said an individual prayer. I have never prayed like that before, ha ha. After the prayer we invited everyone to join the lesson. I guess the prayer wasn't very moving, cause everyone left except her son. Oh well, one is better than none! When we introduced the Book of Mormon her son said, oh you guys are the Mormons I was just researching about you guys last night. He turned to his mom and was like that's so crazy I was just reading about them. We gave them both a Book of Mormon and invited them to read it. It was such an amazing moment. There are no coincidences, God puts us where we need to be at the right times.
Love and miss y'all!
